Fatimids. al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah. AH 341-365 / AD 953-975. AR Half-Dirham (18.7mm, 1.48 g, 1h). Filastin mint. Dated AH 35x (circa AD 370). With 'S' symbol in centres both sides. Nicol -; Jeselsohn -. Fine, on a buckled flan with some striking weakness. Of the highest rarity, apparently unpublished. Nicol records no half-dirhams for al-Mu'izz from the mint of Filastin. The significance of the 'S' symbol in the centres is not clear.
