Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus surmounted by Victory and shield / Constantinopolis seated facing on throne, head right, holding spear and globus; ΘS//OB*+*. DOC 138 (Antioch); MIBE 8; SB 376 (Antioch). Toned, minor obverse die break, marks and edge marks. Good VF.

There appear to be a minority of dies of this series that depict Justin with a short beard which could indicate the mourning beard such as that worn on the solidi issue of SB 344. While this distinction is not noted in the references, on this example the quite uncommon bearded variety is apparent.
