Allectus. Romano-British Emperor, AD 293-296. Antoninianus (21.5mm, 3.82 g, 3h). Uncertain mint. [I]MP C ALLECTVS P F AVGG (sic), radiate and draped bust right / LAE T I [...], Laetitia standing left, holding olive branch and transverse scepter; S|[...]//XX. RIC V –; Burnett, Coinage –. Green patina, a couple of minor edge splits. Near VF. Extremely rare. A very odd and curious coin with numerous errors, including: two GG’s in the obverse legend, Laetitia with the attributes of Pax, and an odd mint mark.
