Lucius Caesius. 112-111 BC. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.82 g, 5h). Rome mint. Youthful, draped bust of Vejovis left, seen from behind, hurling thunderbolt; monogram to right / Two Lares seated right on rock, each holding a staff; dog standing right between them, head of Vulcan and tongs above. Crawford 298/1; Sydenham 564; Caesia 1; RBW 1140. Golden cabinet toning with traces of find patina, deposits, some porosity on the reverse. VF.
