ARABIA, Northwestern. Lihyan. 2nd–1st centuries BC. AR “Drachm” (14.5mm, 3.79 g, 10h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye; monogram (mark of value?) on cheek / Owl standing right, head facing; olive spray and crescent to lower left; all within incuse square . Cf. Huth 39 for similar style (idiosyncratic to this mint); otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Find patina, minor die break on reverse. Good VF. Description
