The Aleksandr II memorial in Moscow was completed in 1898 to honor the late Tsar Aleksandr II Nikolaevich, who was assassinated in 1881 by a socialist bomb. The monument would be demolished by Stalin in 1931, before ultimately being restored in 2005. Descripción
