D N VALENTIN IANVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over right shoulder in right hand and shield decorated with horseman motif on left shoulder / VOT XXX MVLT XXXX, Constantinopolis, helmeted and draped, seated left, right foot on prow, holding globus cruciger in right hand and transverse scepter in left; shield beside throne to right; * to right; Θ//CONOB. RIC X 260; Depeyrot 81/2; Biaggi –; Mazzini –. Toned, with some luster, a couple minor marks at edge, light hairlines on obverse. EF. Very rare.
