Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates' names in fields, the Dioskouroi to right, [letter on amphora], ME below; all within wreath. Thompson 489d (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602; SNG Tübingen 1713 (same obv. die). Toned, some marks, minor scratches. Fine.
CORINTHIA, Corinth. Circa 490-450 BC. AR Stater (18.5mm, 8.54 g, 10h). Pegasos flying right / Helmeted head of Athena right within incuse square. PAPHLAGONIA, Sinope. Circa 350/30-300 BC. AR Siglos or Drachm (18.5mm, 4.99 g, 6h). Persic standard. Agreos, magistrate. Head of nymph left, hair in sakkos; aphlaston to left / Sea-eagle on dolphin left; AΓPEΩ[Σ] below wings. RG 34; HGC 7, 399. Toned, lightly granular surfaces, delamination on obverse, faint scratch on reverse. Good VF.
BITHYNIA, Herakleia Pontike. Circa 230-200 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 15.73 g, 1h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram to left, club in exergue. Price 1282; HGC 7, 481. Lightly toned, flan crack, rough surfaces. Good VF.
MYSIA, Kyzikos. Mid 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.45 g, 12h). In the name and types of Lysimachos of Thrace. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left; fish hook(?) in exergue. CNG E-324, lot 91 (same dies) otherwise, unpublished, but obverse dies by the same engraver are known for Lysimachi from Kyzikos: cf. SNG France 2523–4 and G.K. Jenkins, "A Hellenistic Hoard from Mesopotamia," MN 13 (1967), 39; also see CNG E-322, lot 213 for a very similar coin with the same symbol in the exergue, but a different monogram. Bent flan, multiple stress cracks; fragile. Good VF. Rare.

Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left, long torch in exergue. Cf. Müller 385; otherwise, unpublished in the standard references. Area of weak strike, some roughness. VF. Unusual orientation of monogram.
