From the Wayne Scheible Collection. Ex Garth R. Drewry Collection (Classical Numismatic Group 67, 22 September 2004), lot 2072; Frederick S. Knobloch Collection (Stack's 1 May, 1980), lot 1410.The obverse depicts a much more finely rendered portrait of Nero than on any recorded by Johnson & Martini. Accordingly, it may not actually be a work of Cavino himself, but certainly belongs to the same period.
