IBERIA, Carmo. Circa 150-100 BC. Æ As (23mm, 14.79 g, 1h). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Ethnic between two grain ears. ACIP 2397. Dark green patina, some earthen deposits, slight roughness, a few cleaning marks. VF.
IBERIA, Corduba. Mid 2nd century BC. Æ Quadrans (19.5mm, 5.63 g, 6h). Head of Venus right / Eros, nude, standing left, holding cornucopia and torch; three pellets to left. ACIP 2484. Brown surfaces, irregular flan. VF.
CAMPANIA, Neapolis. Circa 275-250 BC. AR Nomos (20.5mm, 7.32 g, 7h). Head of nymph left; heron or swan standing right / Man-headed bull standing right; above, Nike flying right, placing wreath on bull's head; IΣ below. Sambon 507; HN Italy 586. Slight die wear on obverse, flan flaw on reverse. Good VF. Well centered.
CAMPANIA, Nola. Circa 300-250 BC. AR Obol (9mm, 0.84 g, 6h). Laureate head of Apollo left / Man-headed bull standing right; above, Nike flying right, crowning bull; MI below. Sambon –; HN Italy 606; SNG Ashmolean 160. Compact flan. Near VF. Very rare, none in CoinArchives.

From the Conti Collection.In contrast to the more usual quarter shekels from this period that were minted in Carthage for use by Hannibal's forces in southern Italy (HN Italy 2015), the present specimen is from one of the more rare issues that are thought to have been struck at uncertain mints in Bruttium. This particular issue was thought by Robinson to have been struck in Lokris, but Rutter (HN Italy) doubts this attribution.
