PONTOS, Amisos (as Peiraieos). Circa 435-370 BC. AR Siglos (17.5mm, 5.64 g, 2h). Charias, magistrate. Head of Hera left, wearing stephanos / Owl, with spread wings, standing facing on shield; sword-in-sheath to right, XA-PI/O-Y in two lines across central field. Malloy 1dq var. (symbol not noted); HGC 7, 229. Lightly toned, double struck and roughness on obverse, traces of find patina on reverse. Good VF.
PAPHLAGONIA, Sinope. Circa 350/30-300 BC. AR Siglos or Drachm (18mm, 4.98 g, 5h). Persic standard. Karpo–, magistrate. Head of nymph left, hair in sakkos / Sea-eagle on dolphin left; KAPΠ[O] below wings. RG 34; HGC 7, 399. Lightly toned over lustrous surfaces, a little off center, slight die shift on reverse. Lightly toned, underlying luster, slightly off center, slight die shift on obverse, deposit at edge on reverse. Near EF.

KINGS of BITHYNIA. Nikomedes IV Philopator. 94-74 BC. AR Tetradrachm (35mm, 16.49 g, 12h). Nikomedeia mint. Dated 207 BE (91/0 BC). Diademed head right / Zeus Stephanophoros standing left; to inner left, eagle standing left on thunderbolt above monogram and ZΣ (date). Callataÿ p. 62, unlisted dies; HGC 7, 646 (92/1 BC); DCA 445. Lightly toned, slight bend in flan, causing stress crack in field on obverse. VF.
MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 600-550 BC. Fourrée Hemihekte – Twelfth Stater (7mm, 0.95 g). Tunny left; above, head of tunny right; below, tail of tunny left / Quadripartite incuse square. For prototype: cf. Laureate head of Philetairos right / Athena seated left on throne, with elbow resting upon shield, crowning dynastic name; spear behind; grape bunch to outer left, A to inner left, bow to right. Westermark Group V, obv. die LXXXVI; SNG BN 1618–9. Find patina, light roughness, light scratch on reverse. VF.
TROAS, Abydos. Circa 170s-150s BC. AR Tetradrachm (34.5mm, 15.14 g, 12h). In the name and types of Lysimachos of Thrace. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left; in exergue, eagle standing right. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field. Price 2812 (same obv. die as illustration = BM inv. 1888,0614.97). Deep find patina. Good VF.
