JUDAEA, Bar Kochba Revolt. 132-135 CE. AR Zuz – Denarius (20mm, 3.39 g, 6h). Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). Grape bunch on vine / Palm frond. Mildenburg 171 (O21/R96); Meshorer 281; Hendin 1430. Toned, off center and minor die wear on obverse, overstruck on a drachm of Trajan. VF.

PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Uncertain mint. Circa 353-333 BC. AR Drachm (13mm, 4.07 g, 3h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with profile eye / Owl standing left, head facing; olive spray and Aramaic shin to left; all within incuse square. Unpublished in the standard references. Toned, roughness, test cut, scratches on obverse, rotated double strike on reverse. Fine. Very rare.

Lightly toned, compact flan, numerous scratches. Near VF.

Jugate draped busts right of Aretas, laureate, and Shuqailat, wearing Isis crown; [letters above?] / Crossed cornucopias. Cf. CN 186 and 188; cf. Meshorer, Nabataea 112 and 114. Earthen dark green-brown patina, cleaning scratches. VF.
