Baal of Tarsos seated right, head and torso facing, holding grain ear and grape bunch, and cradling eagle-tipped scepter; B'LTRZ (in Aramaic) to left, thymiaterion in background; all within crenellated wall / Ana, nude, standing right, extending hand and pointing at the head of Tarkumuwa, standing left, wearing chlamys, leaning on staff, with hand raised; ANA (in Aramaic) to left, thymiaterion and TRKMW (in Aramaic) between; all within square dotted border in linear border. KINGS of CAPPADOCIA. Ariarathes VII Philometor. Circa 107/6-101/0 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 4.00 g, 12h). Mint C (Komana). Dated year 10 of an uncertain era (103/2 BC). Diademed head right / Athena Nikephoros standing left; monograms to inner left and inner right, I (date?) in exergue. Krengel Series 6, 1b; Simonetta 16b; HGC 7, 832; DCA 456. Toned, slight roughness, light scratches and marks, minor flan flaw on reverse. VF.
KINGS of CAPPADOCIA. Ariarathes IX Eusebes Philopator. Circa 100-85 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 4.10 g, 12h). Mint B (Eusebeia-Mazaka). Dated RY 4 (97/6 BC). Diademed head right, with Mithradatic style portrait / Athena Nikephoros standing left; monogram to inner left, Δ (date) in exergue. Simonetta 4; HGC 7, 845 (mint A); DCA 459. Toned, slight die wear on obverse. Good VF.
KINGS of CAPPADOCIA. Ariobarzanes I Philoromaios. 96-63 BC. AR Drachm (16.5mm, 4.06 g, 12h). Mint A (Eusebeia). Dated RY 3 (93/2 BC). Diademed head right / Athena Nikephoros standing left, holding spear and round shield; T to inner left, Γ (date) in exergue. Simonetta 11; HGC 7, 846; DCA 460. Toned, with some iridescence, trace earthen deposits. VF.
KINGS of ARMENIA MINOR. Aristoboulos. AD 54-92. Æ 8 Chalkoi (25mm, 8.46 g). Uncertain date. Diademed head left; [date in legend below]; c/m: [monogram] within square incuse / [Uncertain legend within wreath]. Cf. Kovacs 299 and 301; cf. Hendin 6285–7; cf. RPC I 3839 and II 1692. Dark green-brown patina, roughness, light scratches, reverse worn flat. Fair. An affordable example of this rare type.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. Second satrapy and kingship, 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 17.09 g, 5h). Seleukeia on the Tigris II mint. Struck circa 296/5-281 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Athena, brandishing spear, shield on left arm, in quadriga of horned elephants right; anchor above, AP monogram and Π in exergue. SC Ad78; HGC 9, 18a; ANS inv. 1944.100.44933 var. (control marks; same obv. die [example of SC 130.27a]). Toned. VF. Well centered.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III 'the Great'. 222-187 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 3.98 g, 12h). Apameia on the Orontes mint(?). Struck circa 212 BC. Diademed head right / Elephant standing right; monogram to right. SC 1065.6; Houghton, Elephants, Type B, obv. die a1; HGC 9, 453a. Lightly toned, some die wear, minor scratches, a little off center on reverse. VF.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos IV Epiphanes. 175-164 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 16.92 g, 1h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Diademed head right / Apollo, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monogram in exergue. SC 1506.2; HGC 9, 615h. Lightly toned, traces of find patina, a couple marks on obverse. VF.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Demetrios I Soter. 162-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (33mm, 16.61 g, 12h). Uncertain mint 84, prob. in Mesopotamia (Nisibis?). Diademed head right within laurel wreath / Tyche seated left on backless throne with winged tritoness support, holding scepter and cornucopia; monogram to outer right. SC 1682; HGC 9, 797c. Lightly toned, minor double strike, short flan crack. Good VF. Rare. From the Sigmund Collection.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Demetrios I Soter. 162-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 16.36 g, 1h). "Antioch on the Persian Gulf" mint. Diademed head right / Apollo, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer left and in exergue. SC 1706 var. (unlisted issue); Mørkholm, Seleucid –, but obv. die A2; HGC 9, 790b. Toned, patches of find patina, minor roughness. VF. Very rare variety.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Alexander I Balas. 152-145 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 3.78 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Diademed head right / Apollo, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; [monogram in exergue]. SC 1859; HGC 9, 887c. Roughness, light cleaning scratches. Near VF. Very rare.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Alexander I Balas. 152-145 BC. Fourrée Didrachm (22mm, 5.13 g, 12h). Imitating Ptolemy VI obverse, Balas Tyre mint issue reverse, dated SE 163. Dated SE 163 (150/49 BC). Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck / Eagle standing left on [prow left]; palm frond in background; to right, club surmounted by Tyre monogram; to right, ΓΞP (date) above ΓPY(?). Cf. SC 1839 = SNG Spaer 1554 for similar, otherwise unpublished. Toned, numerous breaks in plating. VF. Apparently unique.

Diademed head right / Athena Nikephoros standing left, resting hand on shield, and propping spear on her arm; to outer left, monogram above A; AP monogram to inner right; all within wreath. SC 2061.1d; Lorber, Die, Group 10, 714–5 (obv. die A93); HGC 9, 1067d. Some roughness. Good VF.
