SICILY, Selinos. Circa 455-409 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 17.05 g, 4h). Nike, holding reins, in galloping quadriga right; laurel wreath above, grain ear in exergue / River god Selinos, nude, standing facing, head left, holding phiale over lighted altar, cradling palm frond decorated with a filet; to left, rooster standing left before altar; to right, selinon leaf above bull standing left on basis. Schwabacher 43 (Q14/S33); HGC 2, 1223; BMC 45 (same dies). Fine. Well centered.
