SC 1812; HGC 9, 875d. VF, deposits, somewhat overcleaned. Very rare, none in CoinArchives or handled by CNG previously.

Diademed and draped bust right / Eagle standing left on prow left; palm frond behind; to left, AΣ above dove standing left above monogram; Z(koppa)P (date) to right. SC 2339.5; HGC 9, 1203; DCA 273. Fine, toned, roughness, large flan flaw on reverse. Rare.

PHOENICIA, Byblos (Gebal). 'Ozba'al. Circa 400-365 BC. AR Shekel (24mm, 13.27 g, 6h). Three hoplites, holding shields, on galley left above waves, prow ending in lion's head; below, hippocamp left above murex shell / Lion attacking bull left; 'ZB'L MLK GBL ("Ozbaal, king of Gebal" in Phoenician) above. SAMARIA, "Middle Levantine" Series. Circa 375-333 BC. AR Hemiobol (7.5mm, 0.29 g, 1h). Persian king standing left, fighting winged animal / Forepart of lion left. Cf. Meshorer & Qedar 86 (obol); Sofaer –. Near VF, toned, porous. Well centered and struck. Very rare.

Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, in kneeling-running stance right, holding dagger in right hand, bow in left / Forepart of horse right. Sunrise 101, otherwise unpublished. Good VF. Well centered. Extremely rare.
PERSIA, Achaemenid Empire. temp. Artaxerxes III to Darios III. Circa 350-333 BC. Æ Unit (13mm, 2.05 g). Uncertain mint in western Asia Minor (Ionia or Sardes?). Persian king, wearing kidaris and kandys, in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear in right hand, bow in left; c/m: star within incuse circle / Incuse rectangle, containing pattern possibly depicting relief map of the hinterland of Ephesos.
