MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 170-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (35.5mm, 16.99 g, 12h). Stephanophoric type. Wreathed head of Kore Soteira right / Club left; KYZI-KHNΩN above and below; monograms at top and bottom; all within oak wreath. Von Fritze II 33; SNG France 449–51 var. (monograms); Gaziantep 215 var. (same). Good VF, toned, double struck, field smoothed on obverse to remove part of doubling. Rare.
MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 170-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (36mm, 16.47 g, 12h). Wreathed head of Kore Soteira right / Club left; KYZI-KHNΩN above and below; monograms at top and bottom; all within oak wreath. Von Fritze II 33; SNG France 449–51 var. (monograms); Gaziantep 215 var. (same). VF, toned, porous, slight bend in flan with associated stress cracks and edge chips.
TROAS, Gargara. 4th century BC. AR Triobol (14.5mm, 2.45 g, 12h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Bull grazing left within incuse square. SNG Ashmolean 1131; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG von Aulock 1509. VF, toned, a few deposits, some roughness.
AEOLIS, Myrina. Circa 160-143 BC. AR Tetradrachm (33.5mm, 16.06 g, 12h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Apollo Grynios standing right, holding branch and phiale; monogram to left, omphalos and amphora at feet; all within laurel wreath. Sacks Issue 3, obv. die 6 (unrecorded for issue); SNG Copenhagen –. VF, find patina, areas of porosity. Very rare early issue.

Bodenstedt Em. 5; HGC 6, 929; SNG von Aulock 7720 = SNG Lockett 2751 = Pozzi 2311. VF, minor die rust. Very rare, only one example noted by Bodenstedt.

IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 550-500 BC. AR Hemihekte (8mm, 0.87 g). Bee / Milesian-style stellate pattern in incuse square. Karwiese Series IIIa; SNG Kayhan 116–7. VF, toned. Well centered and struck, with good metal.
IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Archepolis(?). Circa 459 BC. AR Tetartemorion (6mm, 0.15 g, 12h). Bearded male head right, wearing laurel wreath / Eagle flying right within linear square in incuse square. Cf. Hauck & Aufhäuser 18, 207 (eagle flying left, A below); cf. Triton X, lot 298. Fine, porous, struck from worn dies. Rare.For similar trihemiobols of Archepolis, but eagle left with ethnic, cf. Nollé & Wenninger A 2a = Gorny & Mosch 102, 254 and Triton V, 1425.
