Laureate, helmeted, and trabeate bust left, holding Victory on globe right / Sol standing left, holding globe and whip; –|*//PLN. RIC VI 174 corr. (bust type); RML 343 (forthcoming); C&T 7.03.040 (same obv. die as illustrated example). Dark brown patina, die wear, some gentle smoothing. Near EF. Very rare. All of the known example of this issue and of C&T 7.08.009 appear to share the same obverse die.
