Martin Price placed this issue at an uncertain mint in southern Asia Minor. During the late 4th century and early 3rd century BC the Kings of Macedon, the Seleukid Kings of Syria and the Ptolemaic Kings of Egypt led military campaigns against each other in that particular area. Therefore this issue could be linked to all three kingdoms since all three of them were striking coins in the name and types of Alexander III 'the Great'. There is nothing on the coin suggesting a connection to a particular ruler or kingdom. Descripción
