KINGS of PAEONIA. Patraos. Circa 335-315 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 12.68 g, 1h). Astibos or Damastion mint. Laureate head of Apollo right / Warrior on horse rearing right, thrusting spear at enemy lying below who defends with shield. Paeonian Hoard 85 (this coin, illustrated); Peykov E2160; HGC 3, 148; Weber 2234 (same dies). Lightly toned, traces of find patina, some die wear on obverse, a little off center on reverse. VF.
