Magnífico ejemplar de uno de los reales más difíciles de toda la moneda virreinal española, del que sólo se conocen unos pocos, la mayoría de los cuales tiene defectos o corrosiones y raramente están disponibles en subasta. Este tipo corresponde con la variante 9 del estudio realizado por Cori Sedwick e Isaac Rudman sobre La Moneda de Plata de Juana y Carlos de Santo Domingo, que fue presentado en la última Convención de Historiadores y Numismáticos, celebrada en la ciudad de Santo Domingo en 2023.
