Laureate head right / VICT BRI[T] in exergue, Victory seated right on shields, cradling palm frond in right arm, and placing left hand on shield set on knee; two shields on ground to left. Cf. RIC III 440 and 452; cf. MIR 18, 653-6/30 and 665-6/30; cf. Banti 484-5; SCBC 648. Pitted green and brown surfaces, cleaning and smoothing scratches, reverse better. Fine. The revolt was quickly put down and a series of coins was struck to commemorate the event.
