Male head left; two dolphins to left, [open lozenge behind neck] / Cross; solid lozenge in 1st and 2nd quarters, open lozenge in 4th, ax in 3rd; each quarter bound by solid crescent. Savès Group I, Series I, 1-9; Depeyrot, NC II, 73; CCCBM II 55-60. Lightly toned, struck on a small flan as is typical of the type. VF. Purchased by the consignor from Mike Vosper.
