CARTHAGE. Circa 300-264 BC. Æ Shekel(?) (19.5mm, 5.58 g, 7h). Carthage or Sardinia mint. Wreathed head of Tanit left / Head of horse right; Punic 'ayin to right. CNP 252ay (Sardinia); MAA 57x (Carthage); SNG Copenhagen (Africa) 151 (Sardinia). Dark brown patina, with patches of red, light smoothing. Good VF.
SKYTHIA, Geto-Dacians. Koson. Mid 1st century BC. AV Stater (20mm, 8.49 g, 12h). Roman consul accompanied by two lictors advancing left / Eagle standing left on scepter, holding wreath. Hourmouziadis dies C/g; Iliescu 2; RPC I 1701B; HGC 3, 2049 corr. (some without monogram). A little off center, edge split, typical die wear on obverse. Good VF.
THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 90-80 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 16.26 g, 11h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left, BY below throne, ornate trident in exergue. Callataÿ Group 3 var. (unlisted monogram); Müller –; HGC 3, 1406. Lightly toned. Good VF. Although the monogram is unlisted, the style of the obverse is identical to that found on the earlier obverse dies of Callataÿ's Group 3 issues.
