Authorized for circulation in West New Jersey, 18 May 1682 as a halfpenny. This reverse legend variety accidentally omits the C in QVIESCAT. Very rare with reverse legend error and seemingly the finest known. Ex William C. Boyd Collection (Baldwin's 42, 26 September 2005), lot 1225 (part of).
