Ex Pegasi Numismatics (ND).The fields around the Persian king/hero on the obverse of these issues are typically flat, but on the upper left edge of the obverse, there appear to be marks that resemble the lower portions of letters. Unfortunately, the flan is too compact to discern whether these are actual letters, or simply an uneven surface. It should also be noted that the dress on the figure is unusual, in that it lacks the large pellets/circles running horizontally at the middle of the upper portion of his kandys.
