Struck in the name of Cnut, 1040-1042. Diademed bust left, holding trefoil-tipped scepter / + GODRIC ON LINCO, quadrilateral, with pellet in center and angles, over voided short cross. Mossop pl. LXIV, 9 (dies A/a) = SCBI 14 (Copenhagen), 1626; North 799; SCBC 1169. Slight porosity. Near VF.
