LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 300-280 BC. AR Triobol (12mm, 0.94 g, 3h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla throwing a stone / Bull butting right; ΣΩ below; in exergue, grain ear right. HN Italy 1878; SNG ANS –; McClean 1349–53. Much find patina remaining, scratches on obverse, die break on reverse. VF. Rare with grain ear.
