"Yehohanan the High Priest and head of the Council of the Jews" (classic-style paleo-Hebrew), palm frond / Rose between two ears of grain; monogram to right. Hendin 6170 (this coin illustrated); TJC J; Sofaer 190-191. Even brown surfaces, rose is slightly off-center. Good VF.
