Ex Lee Toone Collection (Spink 233, 2 December 2015), lot 659, purchased from John Philpotts at the York Coin Fair for £300, 18 January 2013.From Lee Toone: "A very rare reverse type for this period. The series of which this coin type is a part was only struck for a month or so at the end of 307 just before Constantine I became Augustus and is thought to celebrate the alliance between Maximian and Constantine."
