Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, IA (date) above Φ. Heipp-Tamer 226–8 and 233 (unlisted dies); Price 2849; DCA 315. Bust right, wearing winged crown with korymbos, vis-a-vis bust of uncertain prince left, diademed and wearing kolah with horse's head, decorated with plume / Fire altar; flanked by two attendants, the left wearing winged crown with korymbos, the right wearing mural crown; pellets flanking altar shaft. SNS II –, but cf. Type III(1)/1(1a); Zeno 270992 = New York Sale 37, lot 436 = Sunrise 777 var. (tamgha to left of flames and taurus symbol on altar shaft). Iridescent toning, minor edge chips and marks, crystallized. Good VF. Extremely rare new type, only the Sunrise specimen in CoinArchives.
