CILICIA, Tarsos. Circa 420-410 BC. AR Stater (20mm, 10.62 g, 7h). Horseman riding left; to right, eagle standing right; monogram below / Archer kneeling right, drawing bow; monogram to left; all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. Casabonne Type D (unlisted variety); cf. SNG BN 213; SNG Levante –; SNG von Aulock –; CNG E-429, lot 180 (same dies [eagle off flan]). Good VF, slightly off center on obverse. Rare.
