Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / Nike standing right, holding wreath that she places on trophy to right; Boeotian shield in lower middle field, AI monogram to lower right. SC Ad86 (this coin referenced and illustrated); ESMS –; HGC 9, 49. VF, find patina. Extremely rare with these control marks.Ex Gorny & Mosch 142 (10 October 2005), lot 1620.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos II Kallinikos. 246-225 BC. Æ (14.5mm, 3.10 g, 2h). Diademed head right / Horseman right. Unpublished, but probably related to SC 709. VF, brown surfaces. Apparently unique.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III 'the Great'. 222-187 BC. Æ (24.5mm, 13.20 g, 1h). Sardes or Antioch mint. Larureate head of Apollo right / Tripod; illegible control marks. Cf. SC 971, 1060, and Ad221; HGC 9, 468. Fine, dark green-brown patina, double struck on obverse. Rare.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III 'the Great'. 222-187 BC. Æ (13mm, 2.92 g, 12h). Sardes mint(?). Laureate head of Apollo right / Apollo seated left on omphalos. SC 984; HGC 9, 561. VF, dark brown patina, reverse off center. Very rare.
SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III 'the Great'. 222-187 BC. Æ (24.5mm, 14.14 g, 1h). Uncertain mint 73 near Ekbatana. Struck circa 210 BC. Diademed head right / Elephant standing right; [anchor to left, illegible control marks]. Cf. SC 1275; HGC 9, 469. Fine, dark green-brown patina.

SELEUKID EMPIRE. Alexander I Balas. 152-145 BC. Æ (19mm, 7.52 g, 1h). Quasi-municipal issue. Apameia on the Axios mint. Date SE 163 (150/49 BC). Diademed head right / Zeus standing left, [foot on prow], holding helmet and scepter; [monogram] and date to left; two c/m: both palm frond in rectangular incuse. SC 1804; HGC 9, 904. VF, earthen dark green patina.

Good VF. Most of the shields on this series show no features, but this example clearly presents a face in profile.

Diademed head right / Athena Nikephoros standing left; to outer left, monogram above A; all within laurel wreath. SC 2361.1; HGC 9, 1228f. Good VF, lightly toned, minor roughness on the obverse. Rare.
