Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Hadrian seated left on sella castrensis set on daïs, extending his right hand, attending to the distribution made by an officer, who is seated to a citizen mounting steps up to it; Liberalitas standing left, holding tessera. Laureate head right / Britannia seated left, head facing, foot on rock, resting head on hand and holding scepter, elbow resting on large shield to right. RIC II 577a; SCBC 635. Fine, dark green surface, some roughness. Rare.
