IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Archepolis(?). Circa 459 BC. AR Tetartemorion (6mm, 0.15 g, 12h). Bearded male head right, wearing laurel wreath / Eagle flying right within linear square in incuse square. Cf. Hauck & Aufhäuser 18, 207 (eagle flying left, A below); cf. Triton X, lot 298. Fine, porous, struck from worn dies. Rare.For similar trihemiobols of Archepolis, but eagle left with ethnic, cf. Nollé & Wenninger A 2a = Gorny & Mosch 102, 254 and Triton V, 1425.

Laureate head right / Britannia seated left, head facing, foot on rock, resting head on hand and holding scepter, elbow resting on large shield to right. RIC II 577a; SCBC 635. Fine, dark green surface, some roughness. Rare.

Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ As (28mm, 12.61 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 124-135. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head right / HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head right. RIC II 1002 var. (one side not laureate). Fine, green patina, some red, areas of roughness, test cut. Rare with two obverses.

Zeno. Second reign, AD 476-491. AV Solidus (20mm, 4.37 g, 6h). Constantinople mint, 4th officina. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield / Victory standing left, holding long, jeweled cross; star to right; Δ//CONOB.
