TUDOR. Philip & Mary. 1554-1558. Fantasy AR(?) Halfcrown (34mm, 28.83 g, 12h). Dated 1555, though likely a 19th century fantasy. Armored bust of Philip right; crown above / Veiled bust of Mary left; crown above. Thick flan. Cf. North 1977; cf. SCBC 2497A (for original); cf. Spink 177, lot 42 (for similar fantasy). Toned, cast and chased as made. Good VF.
