I (N retrograde)P CARAV[SIV]S P A, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / [...]I(N retrograde)IVS AG [sic], Carausius on horseback riding left, wearing military attire, raising right hand and holding scepter in left, trampling captive with hands bound behind his back below. RIC V.5 223 (forthcoming; this coin cited and illustrated); RIC V –; RSC –; Shiel –. Toned, marks, residual find patina. Good VF. Unique. The only example noted in RIC V.5. The reverse appears to be an ADVENTVS AVG derivative.
