Diademed head of Apollo Soranus right, surmounted by star; acisculus and ACISCVLVS downwards to left; all within laurel wreath / Human-headed owl, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, advancing right, carrying two nearly parallel spears and shield; [L • VALERIVS in exergue]; all within laurel wreath. Crawford 474/2b; CRI 91a; Sydenham 999a; Valeria 18; BMCRR Rome 4106-7; Kestner 3664; RBW 1660. Deeply toned, with iridescence, light marks and scratches, scrape on obverse, off center and collector’s inventory number 1006 in margin on reverse, cut on edge. Good VF.
