Imitation coinage. In the name of Justinianus I. Solidus. Anv.: Frontal bust with shield and spear, around an imitation legend of Justinian, but levigraphic. We are not aware of any other specimen with this particularity. OSVNAII / NTISIV (Inverted) I. Rev.: Victory left holding cross on long bipod. In field left; star. Ly.: VICTOR / IIAAVGGGGGN. In the exergue we cannot see the central letter well, although we understand that its reading is: CONOR (sic). Au. 4,28 g. Probably minted by Teudis (531-548). We believe it was minted in Toledo, although it may have been minted in Barcelona or Seville, the three cities where he established his court. Solder on the central part of the reverse and on the exergue, which we believe could have been used as jewellery. Good general appearance. Very rare. VF. Est...900,00.
