Proyectos no adoptados de anverso y reverso del billete de 5 pesetas para la emisión del 4 de Octubre de 1944 con las firmas del Gobernador, Interventor y Cajero. Realizados a mano y utilizado color para dar la sensación de fondos litográficos. Tanto en anverso como en reverso vemos representadas imágenes rurales, ambos pegados sobre cartulina con el sello en rojo de la FNMT. El color está conseguido con la técnica “aguada”, es decir, utilizando un color base y efectuando los diferentes matices diluyendo con agua y aplicándolos con pincel o plumilla. En cualquier caso, ambos bocetos resultan interesantes pues demuestran que los dibujantes de la FNMT debían considerarse como artistas en constante evolución. Pieza excepcional y única.. SC. Proyectos no adoptados de anverso y reverso sobre cartulina del billete de 25 pesetas para la emisión del 23 de Abril de 1956, realizados a mano y utilizado color para dar la sensación de fondos litográficos. En el anverso vemos representada a Concepción Arenal y en el reverso la Torre de Hércules, ambos pegados sobre cartulina. El color está conseguido con la técnica “aguada”, es decir, utilizando un color base y efectuando los diferentes matices diluyendo con agua y aplicándolos con pincel o plumilla. Como podemos ver, el proyecto, con este tipo de trabajo, da una visión perfecta de lo que debe ser el posible billete. Hay que recordar que en la FNMT había en los años ‘50 y ‘60 un taller de dibujantes y grabadores para la elaboración de los diferentes artículos que se fabricaban en la entidad, billetes, sellos, lotería, etc., así como una “Escuela de Perfeccionamiento de Grabado y Modelado” donde ingresaban alumnos procedentes de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios para formarse en estos campos, constituyendo el conjunto de mayor nivel artístico y técnico del país en el ámbito del grabado. Proyecto no adoptado del billete de 500 pesetas para la emisión de Enero de 1961. Realizado a mano sobre cartulina con firmas manuscritas del Gobernador, Administrador y Cajero. Posiblemente la efigie central del billete pertenece a Lope de Vega. Esta propuesta de anverso, se ha efectuado con formato tipo “dólar”. De esa misma época conocemos otros bocetos con este dimensionado, lo que parece indicarnos una cierta tendencia en algunos dibujantes de proponer un cambio bastante radical en los modelos que, como era de esperar, no tuvieron buena acogida ya que un cambio drástico en el formato de los billetes de un país es difícil de asumir tanto por los responsables de tomar la decisión, personas habitualmente conservadoras, como por parte de los usuarios. Para su confección se han recortado y superpuesto los diferentes elementos que lo componen: los valores y las diversas secciones del fondo a plantígrafo. La técnica empleada, la propuesta de diseño innovador y la calidad final del proyecto, tanto en estética como en diseño, nos parece, desde nuestro punto de vista, de un excelente nivel y uno de los proyectos más interesantes del conjunto en esta subasta.
